The CC1100 Media Processor is a high performance, fully software-programmable media processor SOC device for video entertainment applications. It is based on the innovative Jazz architecture, which is optimized for next-generation broadcast services and broadband rich media applications. CC1100 decodes a wide variety of digital broadcast and Internet content formats at standard definition and above. CC1100 transcodes content into a variety of formats for place-shifting and for side-loading onto portable devices. CC1100 encodes video for video monitoring and video calling applications. CC1100 integrates advanced peripheral interfaces for superior connectivity.
