Bringing Rich Media to Your Television

Beijing, China and San Jose, California, June 14th, 2011 – BBK has selected the CC1202 Full HD Media Processor device for its NP102S HD Media Player, C2 Microsystems announced today. The use of the CC1202 device allows BBK to deliver attractive on-screen content presentation, easy to use content navigation and support for the widest range of content types available.

The key feature of NP102S HD media player is the support of the MediaBar internet services portal. MediaBar allows the user to watch the content from popular web sites such as RuTube.ru, Video.ru, Russia.ru and RuHD.ru on the television. All of the services are in Russian and are being constantly updated.

The NP102S can access content stored on external devices using a USB interface or an eSATA port and content stored within the home network using a wired Ethernet connection. It enables the playback of high definition video (Full HD 1080p) with support for the most common file formats including the popular web containers MKV (Matroska), MOV (H.264) and VC-1. The media player provides the transmission of the HDTV signal to the TV screen using HDMI.
